Delivery, Returns and Exchanges

We charge a flat fee of £2.95 for postage and packing for orders to the UK and N.Ireland under £50, above £50 it's free.

We aim to despatch most orders within two working days of receiving them although at peak periods it may take longer. We use Royal Mail First Class Delivery for most orders, although exceptionally large or bulky items may be despatched separately using Royal Mail Standard Parcel Service. 

Should an item be out of stock or unavailable for some reason, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange either a substitute or place the item on backorder. (Please allow 28 days for delivery in rare circumstances).

We try to recycle as much of our packing materials as possible!

Additional shipping costs apply to customers from Eire, Europe and overseas. Please email us with your order ( and we will work out the appropriate shipping charges for you. 

We want you to be as delighted with our products as we are, and therefore we offer a 14 day no-quibble guarantee. Should you not be delighted with your order please ring us to obtain a returns code, then return the item to us unused and in its original packaging. The item must be in a resaleable condition in order to receive a full refund. The item remains your responsibility until it reaches us, so we recommend that you send it to us recorded delivery, or obtain a proof of posting certificate. We are sorry but we are unable to refund the cost of returns postage.

NB: Customers are solely responsible for ensuring the details they have provided are accurate and up-to-date. Should a payment be returned due to an invalid card or account being used we will Invoice the customer for a full refund of any charges we incur. If a customer supplies an old, incorrect or incomplete address we will not be held responsible should their order not be received. We would refund / send replacement only when/if the original is returned to us by Royal Mail and this would be less any postage, packaging or payment charges we have incurred. To avoid any problems please ensure all contact information is kept up-to-date and check this each time you order. 

Faulty products; your products are covered by a 12 months guarantee from time of purchase. If there is any problem with the item caused by a manufacturing defect or a defect in materials please return the item to us following the guidelines above. When we have received the goods, we will make a decision as to whether they need to go back to the manufacturer for inspection or whether a full refund will be made or replacement goods provided. Please indicate if you would rather have a refund or replacement. This excludes faults caused by accident, neglect or mis-use.



The price you pay is the price shown at the checkout. Should there be any error in pricing you will be contacted as soon as possible and given the option of either cancelling or re-ordering the item at the new price.


Privacy policy  

We are as protective of your privacy as we are with ours! We will never give your details to a third party, (unless it be one of our partners and you are booked to attend on one of our courses or holidays). All personal information is treated in utmost confidence and in line with the Data Protection Act. In addition we do not store customers financial details or card numbers; all payments are processed by Paypal on a secure server.

From time to time we may contact you by email to inform you of special offers, discounts, holidays or courses offered by; to stop receiving these newsletters simply send an email with the word “unsubscribe” in the title to

Environmental policy

We aim to recycle packaging and reduce waste where possible. As part of this we subscribe to the WEEE regulations, offering to recycle electrical or battery operated items on a like for like basis. For example, if you purchase a pocket torch from us, you are welcome to send us your old torch at your own cost and we will recycle it for you.  Please return the WEEE item to Girlstravelclub, New Pound Common, Wisborough Green, West Sussex, RH14 0EJ clearly stating that you enclose a WEEE product along with a copy of your sales order. All like for like WEEE must be received by us at the returns address above within 28 days of receipt of your new products, which will be taken as 2 days from us shipping the new item to you. Girlstravelclub are not responsible for any WEEE sent to us and not received by us.

Much of the UKs WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health. Goods are marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
